Curaçao Chess Festival 2010 will be held from 23 July to 1 August 2010 at Veneto Casino Holiday Beach Resort where the games will take place in the meeting & banquet rooms Giorgio and Mini Giorgio and accommodation will be available to players and accompanying persons.

Official FIDE International Arbiter for Curacao Chess Festival 2010 will be:

The tournament consists of a Open and Youth (under 19) section. The event will be a 9 rounds Swiss System run under the FIDE rules of chess. Players will be paired accordingly to the FIDE regulations using the Swiss Master program.
The time control is 1 hour 30 minutes for the whole game with incremental time of 30 seconds per move from move 1.
All players are requested to be present for their games in the tournament hall within the 1st hour in order to commence game. Late arrival will result in loss of game.
The money prizes will be divided equally among the players if there is a tie for the 1st place or any subsequent position.
Players are requested to pay registration fees on July 23 at the tournament hall from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m in order to commence their game.
